This is the eleventh and final class of weekly lessons in our core curriculum for learning improv comedy and theatrical improvisation, delivered as an 8 week face to face class or 9 week online Zoom meeting. This class looks at a few more key show formats from around the world, and then creates a new show form devised by the students and teacher. It’s also one of our most fun classes.
By the end of this class, you’ll have a toolkit of methods used for developing new show forms, coaching and directing improv, and with your teacher you’ll have co-devised a new show format to share with the rest of the improv world. An optional public stage performance of the new format is also provided.
You must have already completed our Improv 10 class. Increased class cost due to the additional out of class work required by the teacher in developing the custom curriculum from week to week.
